R. Chris Weldon
Currently, Deputy Coroner (Certified Death Investigator) – Delta County Coroner’s Office and Funeral Director for Taylor Funeral Service. Previous experience, Captain ~ Jail Administrator for Delta County Sheriff’s Office for 18 years and Deputy for Santa Fe New Mexico’s Penitentiary for two years. Chris attended the University of Wyoming, attended Mesa State College, graduated the Santa Fe New Mexico Academy and a Graduate of the Technical College of the Rockies Police Academy. Other outside education and training – Chris currently teaches motorcycle education for 1st Skills Driving and Riding School and operates a photography and graphics business. If there is spare time for Chris, he enjoys riding motorcycles with the Christian Motorcyclists Association and many other outdoor activities.
