William “Bill” and Jade Chartier, 69, died unexpectedly, doing one of their many fun activities, riding the trails on Thursday, August 24th, 2023.
Celebration of Life will be Tuesday October 10th, 2023 @ 2pm and will be held at the Waymire Building (The Dome) 9755 Henderson Rd. Brighton, CO 80601.
While their family and friends are shaken by their death, they are thankful for their lives. Bill and Jade lived a full and warm life, filled with joy and love. They spread love everywhere they went and never hesitated to lend a hand.
Jade was born on January 27th, 1954, the daughter of Mildred Ann Klocker and William Sanders in Denver, Colorado. Survived by dad, William Sanders and sisters Marta Bauer and Melody Sanders Johnson.
Bill was born on February 1st, 1954, to Betty Louise Hendricks and Franklin Fredrick Chartier in Denver, Colorado. Survived by sister Becky Badillo and brother Owen Chartier. Preceded in death by Betty and Franklin
Bill and Jade were high school sweethearts and were married June 26th, 1971, ~ they had just celebrated 52 years together.
Bill served our country as an Army Veteran and an Aurora Police Officer. He later went to work as Assistant Chief Investigator for Adams County, which he retired from in 2020. Bill was a loyal and loving man with a goofy sense of humor.
Jade was a legal assistant for the Adams County DA's Office. She was a quiet person who relished the simple pleasures of life. She loved reading and had an uncanny ability to find happiness in her daily activities.
Both Bill and Jade served in the Christian Motorcyclists Association for many years. They were the State Coordinators for Colorado for 17 years. "It's not about me, It's about Jesus!"
Bill and Jade are deeply missed by their three sons, Bill (Kathy) Chartier, Brandon (Jenn), Chartier and Chris (Monica) Chartier, grandchildren Haley, Dakota, Keenan, Zakk, Lexie, Sarah, Elle, Andrew, Luc, Dave, Jon and Jacques. They also leave behind great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, many relatives as well as countless friends.

We will start out from Taylor Funeral Service in Delta, CO at 08:45am heading to Salida, CO for a meet up at 1:pm at the Walmart Parking lot. The procession will depart for Thornton, CO for a tribute evening at Legacy Christian Fellowship.
