          Ward Lee Wilson passed away Saturday, January 6th, 2024, at St Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction, CO.  He was 72 years old.  He passed from Kidney failure and COVID.

          Services will be held at 2pm Saturday, January 13th, 2024, at Grand Mesa Bible Church 710 Crawford Ave. in Delta, CO.

          He was born on September 29th, 1951, to Maurice and Molly (Gerlock) Wilson in Pueblo, CO.  he grew up in the Pea Green area and graduated from Olathe High School in 1970.

          He met Anita Barrientos and they were married on June 30th, 1972, in Raton, NM.  They moved to the Golden, CO area making their home there.  Around 2000 Ward moved back to the Delta area.

          Ward did various jobs, working at Coors Ceramics for about 25+ years and then Evergreen Disposal.  His hobbies included fishing, camping, hiking, and hunting.  He loved to spend time with family.

          Ward is survived by Anita Wilson of Golden, CO; son Adam Wilson (Carrie) of Lakewood, CO; daughter Heidi Loveless (Jeremy) of Littleton, CO; Granddaughter Trinity Wilson of Littleton, CO; sister Leah Lewis (Steve); sister Jackie Boyd (Lyndon); brother Howard Wilson (Lynette); sister Suzanna Wick (Mike) all of Delta, CO; and numerous nieces and nephews.

          Ward is preceded in death by his parents, sister Nancy Witt and brother-in-law Mike Wick.

          In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Grand Mesa Bible Church at PO Box 945 Delta, CO 81416.

          Arrangements are under the care and direction of Taylor Funeral Service and Crematory.
