Obituary

Timothy Wayne Houge, 62, of Olathe, Colorado, passed away on April 23, 2026, at home surrounded by his loving family.

Timothy was born on January 22, 1964, in Gunnison, Colorado. Tim graduated from Olathe High School, where he met, fell in love with, and married his high school sweetheart, Jonna Biggs.

At a young age, Tim and Jonna started a family while he mastered his craft of building log homes all over the U.S. and abroad. He became a master carpenter, and EMT and firefighter, which he took great pride in. Tim continued to work until he fell ill in 2024.

Those who know Tim remember his strong work ethic, adventurous spirit, his honesty, his grit, and his fiery disposition. He enjoyed spending time with his family, riding dirt bikes, hunting, camping, racing cars, burning rubber, drinking beer, and blowing sh*t up. But his true passion was his family, especially his grandchildren. Tim took pride in his family, instilling in them his adventurous spirit as well as the true meaning of unwavering loyalty.

His immediate family of five quickly grew to a family of eighteen: his faithful wife of 45 years—Jonna Houge (Biggs) and their three daughters, Dana Houge-Conrad (Ryan Conrad), Beverly Inskeep (Randy Inskeep) and Shea Munoz. Tim's legacy continues through his grandchildren: Bradley Houge (Eliza Wetzel), Timmy Munoz (Ruby Ripley), Julie Columbia, Giovonny Munoz, Fabian Munoz, Emiliano Munoz-Houge, Lily Inskeep, Andrew Inskeep, and his first great grandchild, Melody Munoz, all who brought him immense pride and joy!

The Biggs family embraced him with unconditional love, as one of their own. John Biggs became his closest and dearest friend. Tim will be truly missed by all of his family.

Tim’s graveside service will be held at Olathe Cemetery on May 9, 2026, at 10:30am with a lunch following at Tim and Jonna's house.
