Terry Bonfiglio-Lopez (nee Brislinger) age, 66 passed away April 14, 2026. Terry was born and raised in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, graduating from CFHS in 1977. She attended The OSU, U of Akron and graduated from Akron City’s Hospital’s Idabelle Firestone School of Nursing in 1981. Her RN career included the OR, working alongside incredible coworkers as well as a nursing home facility where she truly loved working with the elderly. Terry moved to Colorado in 2005 after meeting “her Norm” and they married on June 15, 2007. She loved her family, her beloved pets, making her house into a home, traveling, especially the Florida Gulf beaches and laughing until she cried.

Terry’s health had been declining since 2016 and she gave it every amount of fight and courage she had left until she became very tired.

Her legacy leaves behind her husband and best friend Norman Lopez, Delta, CO, her devoted daughter, Lindsay Lipstreu (Rob), her cherished grandsons, Jack and Ben all of Hudson, Ohio, brother, Ron Brislinger, SC. Many relatives and friends residing across the country also survive as well as her beloved kitties, Daphne and Paige. Terry wishes to thank Hope West Hospice for their support they’ve shown her and her family during her journey, her husband and caretaker these last few months. Without him, she would not have had the opportunity to pass away in the comfort of her home, her encouraging and faithful daughter and all her dear friends and family members who made this transition more bearable for her.

Terry’s Faith was one of strength and courage and allowed her to let her family and friends know that she was not consumed by fear. Proceeded in death by parents, Mary and Joseph Capriulo and Joseph Brislinger.

Cremation has taken place in Colorado. A memorial gathering will be held this summer in Ohio, her true home.
