Teri was born on November 24, 1956, to Jim and Addie Shea. She attended Delta High School where she met the love of her life, Larry Cockroft. They were married on February 14, 1976. She passed one week prior to their 50th Wedding Anniversary.

Survivors include her husband, Larry; two daughters: Allison Sharpe and Amber (Derek) Gordon; her brother, Kelly (Kim) Shea; grandchildren: Makenzie and Chloe Sharpe, Dylan and Cooper Gordon; brother and sister-in-law, Gordon (Pat) Cockroft; sister and brother-in-law, Janelle (Mario) Penaherra; uncle and aunt, Don (Annie) Ritthaler and numerous cousins and friends.

Teri was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Addie Shea as well as her siblings, Scott Shea and Debbie Ryan, along with her mother and father-in-law, Lee (Donna Lee) Cockroft.

A graveside service will be held at 10am, Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Delta City Cemetery. Monetary contributions may be given to cancer research.
