Sharyn "Shari" Andrea Eymann

Sharyn Andrea Eymann, Shari, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2026, surrounded by her family that loved her so much. She had joyfully celebrated her 80th birthday last August. After a tragic car accident and multiple hospitals and surgeries, Shari made it clear that her wish was to spend her final days in her own home and to join Rayner in Heaven. Our family is deeply grateful to HopeWest Hospice for their compassionate care and for helping to make her wish possible.

Shari was born in McCook, Nebraska, on August 15,1945, to Harold and Virginia Heskett. She grew up in Nebraska and graduated from high school in Bellevue, Nebraska. She then attended McCook Junior College and met the love of her life, Rayner Eymann. They were married on August 27, 1966, in Omaha, Nebraska. The family moved to the Delta area in 1981 where both Shari and Rayner worked for the Delta County School District. Shari worked as a Kindergarten aide and loved the time she spent working with both the students and staff. She often fondly recalled her time at Garnet Mesa Elementary school. Shari and Rayner both retired in 2002.

Shari loved her family above all else. She found great joy in hearing about their lives and treasured every opportunity to spend time with them. She loved texting and we were always happy to receive the GIFs she loved sending. Shari was truly the heart of our family, and her love, kindness, and joy were shared generously with everyone around her. Along with Rayner, Shari provided many wonderful childhood experiences and memories for both her children and grandchildren. Their beautiful home was a source of comfort, peace, and love.

She also loved her friends and neighbors. Shari did not know a stranger and one of her greatest gifts was the gift of chit chat. She had such a knack for making everyone feel important and loved by her gift of talking with them. She radiated kindness and compassion.

Shari loved cooking and baking and we will cherish the recipes she left us. She also loved celebrating every holiday, creating special traditions and meaningful memories for her family. We will carry those traditions with us, forever grateful for the love she shared and the memories she created.

Shari and Rayner celebrated 55 years of marriage, before Rayner passed away in 2022. She is survived by her two daughters, Amy (Tony) Bohling of Delta, and Amanda Tipotsch of Arizona. She is also survived by grandchildren Hattie (Zach) Peterson, Matthew (Joy) Bohling, Zoe Tipotsch, and Cael Tipotsch.

In Shari’s legacy journal we found these words she had written:

A celebration of life service will be held on October 17, 2026, at 1:00 pm, at Delta Christian Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hope West Hospice in honor of Shari’s memory.
