On October 12, 2026, a very awesome Mother, Grandma, G-Grandma, Sister, Aunt, etc. was called home.
Sharon E. Cook was born on November 7, 1947, to Laurence E. White and Mildred Whitel. She was later married to her first husband, Billy Lee Callaway, in which she had three amazing children, Lawrence, Edna, and Billy Callaway. The marriage ended and she met her second husband, VL Cook, with whom she had one daughter Missie Ann.
Sharon was a lifelong resident of Delta, Colorado. She spent most of her life in the Pea Green area where she lived and raised cows, chickens, pigs, and her favorite was her goats in which she loved to watch them play. She loved visiting with her children and grandkids and visiting her friends and neighbors. Sharon loved everyone she met and they loved her too.
Sharon was preceded in death by both late husbands, Billy Callaway and VL Cook; her parents Lawrence White (Maryann)and Mildred Oiron (Leo); four brothers, Ed White, Art White, Jim Williams, and Walter Giron; two sisters, Carla Jean Gran and Hazel White; and a daughter-in-law, Mary Christine (Russell) Callaway.
She is survived by her four children, Lawrence Callaway, Edna Nichols (Gilbert), Billy Callaway (Summer), and Missie Clements (Delon); eight grandkids, Ronnie, Gina, Frank, Steve, Kristine, Austin, Cody, and Becca; and six great grandkids, Andrew, Andrea, Ashlyn, Anthony, Ereckson, and Anahi; four sisters Ruth Lemmong (Dave), Rosie Howard (Simon), Mary Jackson, and Pauline White (Tony); and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Sharon had guys that called her mom and she called her sons and same with women that called her mom. She was a very beautiful lady inside and out. Her children all loved her dearly and her personality was so awesome all the way to the end. Sharon made everyone laugh and smile just by being herself. She will be loved and missed by everyone, especially her children and grandkids.
