Roddy Rundle

Roddy Rundle passed away June 12th, 2025 at Delta Hospital. He was 61. A Memorial Service will be held at Taylor Funeral Service, 682 1725 Rd., Delta, Colorado on Monday, July 14th, 2025 at 10:00 am followed by a lunch reception at Surface Creek Community Church, 21987 Austin Rd., Austin at 11:30 am.

Roddy was born July 7th, 1963 in Denver, Colorado to Doris Jean Rundle and Gerald Grant Rundle. He grew up in Austin, Colorado. He met Rollis Rundle, and they were married on January 19th, 1991. They celebrated 34 years together. They lived in a few different locations with their boys, settling in Crawford, Colorado in 1997.

Roddy had a great work ethic and enjoyed working with his hands. He spent some time as a carpenter, and many years as a coal miner at Bowie. When not working, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, trips to Lake Powell, spontaneous trips, and spending time with his cherished family. He would always welcome people into his home with a warm, and drawn out, “Heeey!”

Roddy is survived by his mom, Doris Jean Rundle of Crawford, Colorado; his wife, Rollis Rundle of Crawford; his son, Nathan Rundle and wife, Amber of Delta, Colorado; his son, Chad and wife, Hannah of Austin, Colorado; his brother, Rory Rundle and sister, Sandi Carr both of Crawford; and four grandchildren, and one great granddaughter.

Roddy is preceded in death by his dad, Gerald Rundle; his sisters, Crystal Lynn Rundle and Suzette Tear.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be given to the family to help lighten the financial load during this unexpected time.
