Robert ‘Bob’ Donald Rombach, 93, of Montrose, CO passed away peacefully on October 20, 2025. His life was defined by his faith, hard work, integrity and love for his family.
Born on December 7, 1931, in Pittsburgh, Pa to George and Evelyn Rombach. He proudly served in the U.S. Airforce during the Korean War. Following the service, he became an aircraft mechanic in Pittsburgh until his retirement.
He was married to the love of his life, Lillian, for 69 years. Together they built a beautiful life filled with love, family, and a lifetime of cherished memories and adventures.
In retirement, Bob and Lil moved to Colorado and enjoyed a full life skiing, camping, kayaking, traveling, dancing and competition shooting.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lillian.
He is survived by his brothers: John Rombach (Sandy) and Norman (Leonora) , His children: Richard, Michael, Annie Holton (Travis), Jeanne D’Antoni (Mike), Tim (Tammi), Ed (Laura), Jenny Troestler, 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandsons.
He will be remembered with love by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
