Robert Lee Oeltjenbruns

Robert Oeltjenbruns was born on June 24, 1937, in Holyoke, Colorado, to Herman and Agnes Oeltjenbruns. Bob passed away peacefully at Red Cliffs Care Center in Grand Junction, Colorado.

He served our country in the U.S. Army.

He met Sandy Atchison in Delta, and they were married on May 14, 1961. They were blessed with two sons: Dennis and Roger.

Bob enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, farm activities, gardening, animals, staying active riding his bike, spending time with his family, and his church. He liked watching his grandchildren grow with their various activities.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandy Oeltjenbruns of 61 years; his parents, Herman and Agnes Oeltjenbruns; and grandson, Luke Oeltjenbruns.

Bob is survived by two sons, Dennis (Tina) Oeltjenbruns, and Roger (Lisa) Oeltjenbruns; three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, three brothers, and five sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Friday, June 12, 2026, at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Delta. Interment to follow at Olathe Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in Bob’s memory to Redeemer Lutheran Church School.
