Patty Arnold

Patty Aline Arnold born April 4, 1946, in Olathe Colorado to Harvey and Edna Byers. She was the fourth in line of six children born to Harvey and Edna.

She grew up on the farm in Olathe with her siblings working hard and having fun. She attended school at the Menoken school house first and second grade, then in Olathe through the eighth grade. And then a handsome young man came from Sacramento, California and swept her off her feet. On June 16, 1961, at the age of fifteen she was married to the love of her life, Bob Arnold, and enjoyed 56 years together.

To this union were born three children: Gary, Terry, and Sherry. Through the years they followed Bob on his road construction jobs across Colorado. They enjoyed camping out along rivers, fishing and enjoying those cold baths.

Patty was baptized July 29, 1958 into the General Assembly of the Church of the Firstborn by Brother Cecil Boyd. Through the years Patty was called to be a midwife and with the Lord’s help she was blessed to bring several babies into the world.

In later years Bob and Patty enjoyed going camping and fishing with their children and granddaughters. She always enjoyed the outdoors around a campfire roasting a hot dog.

Patty was a wonderful wife, mother, grandma, sister, and friend.  And she will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her mother and dad; five siblings; and husband, Bob; two grandsons, Canaan Arnold, and Nate Treagesser.

She is survived by her children, Gary and wife Angie Arnold of Lexington Oklahoma, Terry Arnold of Lexington Oklahoma, Sherry Treagesser and husband Eric of Delta Colorado; three granddaughters, Anne and Emma Treagesser, and Immersun Zoski; and two brothers-in-law, Forrest Neely and Greg Gibson.
