Patricia Ann Logan passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at her home in Paonia. She was 72 years old.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, May 9th at Paonia Christian Fellowship Church. Followed by graveside services at Cedar Hill Cemetery at 12:30PM, and lunch back at Paonia Christian Fellowship Church at 1:30PM. Colorful attire is encouraged, as Patty loved colors.
Patty was born on April 28th, 1953, in Farmington, New Mexico, to Alice Ulibarri and Glen Logan. She grew up all around the United States and graduated from El Camino Fundamental High School near Sacramento, California with the class of 1971. She continued her education at University of California, Berkeley and graduated with a BA in psychology.
Patty made her way from Telluride to Delta County in 2009, making Paonia her home, surrounded by the beautiful mountains and many loving family members close by.
Patty was a bright light, a truly lovely person to have in your life. She consistently and effortlessly brought joy to everyone around her, even while facing immense struggles herself. She was an avid snowboarder and windsurfer whose passion was sadly cut short by an unfortunate diagnosis of multiple sclerosis. She never let her illness stop her from having fun, and anyone who was lucky enough to know her can tell you how exciting it was to be in her presence.
Patty’s proudest accomplishment in life was her four children Devin, Michael, Jessica, and Andrew. And later in life, her sweet young grandchildren Lincoln and Violet. Patty wasn’t just a parent and grandparent; she was their true friend.
Patty is survived by her aforementioned children and grandchildren, her sisters Grace, Becky, and Veronica, and her brother Gary.
Patty is preceded in death by her parents Glen and Alice, her brother Chris, and her sister Elaine.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her name to Chrys Bailey with VOLPS.
