Nina Lucile Willis/McNeill

Nina Lucile Willis/McNeill passed away on Monday, April 6, 2026, at Horizon's Health Care in Eckert, Colorado. She was 85 years old.

Nina was born July 16, 1940, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Macile Hooper and Russell Harry Zink. The oldest of five children. She lived in Kansas City, Missouri, until she was 4 years old, then her and her family moved to a family ranch near Alliance, Nebraska.

The family then moved to Delta, Colorado where Nina finished high school. She graduated from Delta High School in 1958.

She met Paul LeRoy Willis while she was working at Dunbar Drug, her first job. They celebrated 53 years together. He preceded her in death in 2011.

She married James Worthington McNeill in Eckert, Colorado on August 27, 2013. He preceded her in death January 2015.

Nina and Paul ranched for many years after they were married. Nina eventually went to work in town, first in a dental office and then for Delta Savings and Loan eventually working up to vice president. She spent the rest of her career at Delta Savings and Loan, eventually retiring from there. When not working Nina enjoyed gardening, and refinishing furniture. She was a life long member of Beta Sigma Phi.

Nina is survived by her children Mark (Glenda) of Fruita, Colorado, Aaron (Sherry) of Cedaredge, Colorado and Joseph of Platteville, Colorado. She is also survived by her sister Andrea Matranga of Wyoming her brothers Larry Zink of Wyoming and Jon

Zink of North Dakota. She is survived by five grandchildren, Jason, Nicole, Sember, Jake and Isabel and fourteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brother Warren Zink. Her parents and both spouses.

At Nina's request no services will be held.

She will be interned at Mesa View Cemetery in Delta, Colorado.
