Michael Anthony Pacheco

Michael Anthony Pacheco of Delta, Colorado, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2026, at the age of 74.

Mike was born on December 6, 1951, to Albert and Virginia Pacheco in Delta, Colorado. He attended Delta schools and was proud to call Delta Home.

On January 20, 1979, Mike married the love of his life, Veronica Sandoval. Together, they raised two boys, Rick and Michael. Mike was also the proud grandfather of two grandchildren, Darion and Zoey.

Mike is survived by his sisters, Flo, Alberta, Bobby, and Kathy; his brothers, Robert and Lance; and his loving family.

Mike enjoyed working on old cars, hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and cooking for the people he loved.

Mike was a hardworking man who took pride in providing for his family. Throughout his life he worked with horses at the racetrack, at Gibson’s Mink Farm, in construction, at the Oxbow Mine and for Mosquito Control.

Mike was preceded in death by his mother and father, as well as his brother, Tom.

Mike will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will live on through the many lives he touched and the memories he created with them.

A memorial will be held at a later date.
