It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Melanie Iniquez, a fiercely loving mother, a courageous spirit, and a pillar of strength for all who knew her. Melanie departed this world surrounded by the deep love she gave so freely during her time with us.
Melanie was the proud and devoted mother of five beautiful children: Elizabeth, S.J., Jessica, Kristinah, and Lucas. Her love for them knew no bounds. She was their protector, their rock, and their greatest champion. Her dedication to her children was unwavering; she lived each day with them at the center of her heart.
Melanie was also a cherished grandmother to ten beloved grandchildren: Jesstinah, Mariah, Elijah, Kristiannah, Victoriah, Jayden, Addyzin, Atheenah, Aniah, and Arabella. Each of them brought her immense pride and joy. Her face lit up when she spoke of them, and her love for them was as fierce and enduring as everything else she gave in life.
Even through the hardest times, Melanie always found a way to make everything work. With grit, grace, and determination, she carried her family through challenges that would have broken others. Her strength was unmatched, and her perseverance inspired everyone around her.
Those who knew Melanie will remember her as a strong-willed and courageous woman who never backed down from a challenge. She was territorial in the best sense—fiercely loyal and deeply protective of the people she loved. If you were part of Melanie’s world, you knew you had someone who would stand by you, fight for you, and love you without conditions.
Melanie shared part of her life in marriage with SigisFredo, a chapter marked by love, growth, and shared memories that shaped the family they built together. Later in life, she found a steadfast partner in Larry, who stood with her through joy and hardship alike. Their bond was a testament to enduring love and mutual strength.
Melanie gave so much of herself to others. Whether it was a kind word, a helping hand, or simply her presence, she showed up. Her love was a force—bold, unshakable, and true.
While we grieve her loss, we also celebrate the indelible impact she made. Melanie's spirit will live on in the hearts of her children, her grandchildren, her family, and all those fortunate enough to have felt her love.
She will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Forever in our hearts.
