Mary Ann (Lewis) White

Mary Ann (Lewis) White, 98 of Delta, passed away on July 23, 2026. Born August 4, 1927, in Rocky Ford, Colorado, to William and Mary Jo (Brunner) Hannebaum. Her family moved to Delta when she was a child, where she continued to live and raise a family. She married Shirley Lewis and they had 3 children, Liz (Tom) Fedler, Steven (Bud) (Laurie) Lewis, and Scott (Vikki) Lewis. Shirley passed away in 1977. She was later married to Lloyd White until his passing in 1992. 

Mary was a hard worker; she cleaned houses while her children were growing up and enjoyed the families she worked for. In her later years she worked in the kitchen at The Stockyards Restaurant. She worked into her 80's there. 

Mary was known for her salt and pepper shaker collection, she had over 1,500 sets. She also liked to go to mesquite with her sister and play the slot machines. 

Mary is survived by her daughter Liz, her son, Scott, 7 grandkids, 10 great grandkids, 1 great grandkid, numerous step-grandkids, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Mary was predeceased by her parents, 2 husbands, a son Steven, a grandson Gregory, and 5 siblings.

Services will be held Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 10:00 am at Taylor Funeral Service in Delta, Colorado.
