Marion Fish

Marion Fish passed away peacefully at age 89 on April 16th 2026 in Delta County Colorado.

Marion was born on January 24th 1937 in Raunds, England to Olive May (Webb) and Charles Harry Saddington at the family home.

Her early years were spent going to school and then going to work in the shoe factories from age 15.

She met Gary at Chelveston Air Force Base and they were married October 31st 1959.

They enjoyed over 60 years of marriage until his passing in 2020.

At 23 years old she, her husband and only child left England by ship and arrived in the U.S. They resided in East Stroudsburg in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania until his passing. Then at 84 years of age she moved from Pennsylvania to Cedaredge, Colorado to be close to her son and his family. Always an adventurer at heart.

Marion was the housekeeping supervisor at Pocono Hospital in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania for over 20 years until her retirement in 1999.

After which she and Gary enjoyed travelling to various parts of the world together.

Her laugh, quirky sayings and her wonderful British accent will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was a unique lady.

Marion is survived by her son Andrew G. Fish (Michelle) and grandson Ethan A. of Cedaredge, Colorado.

Marion was preceded in death by her parents, sister Mavis and Gary her husband.

To all of the members of her family and friends she made along the way, she loved you all very deeply and you completed her life.

A service will be held at Laurelwood Cemetery in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania at a later date to be announced.
