What a great 98 years she had. Born in St Francis Kansas the same day Charles Lindbergh landed in Paris. From Kansas to Colorado to Arizona and back to Colorado.
Nancy, Bobbie, Lyle and Debbie entered her life. Then 10 Grand kids and 8 Great Grand Kids and 2 Great, great Grandsons. The nieces and nephews are many from the Cooper and McTavish sides and a few preceded her.
She worked at the post office in Breckenridge and Salida before retiring She loved to crochet, embroidery, play cards and cook. She didn't miss a Bronco or Rockies game even if they weren't winning.
She had a lifetime of adventures and travels. She never knew a stranger. There were so many great stories she could tell you could fill a book. Friends were special and many.
She was preceded in death by her two sisters Mary Ellen Cagg, and Juanita Swanson, and brother Rex McTavish. Her husbands, Frosty Cooper and Tony Carroch and companion Doyle Worley. Doyle and she didn't let the grass get too long under their feet. Some of her best times.
Her life was filled with a few hiccups, lots of laughter, love and true adventure. She is very missed by all.
The family would like to thank Arlene for the care and friendship she gave to Mom and family in her later years.
Arrangements later.
