Margaret Kay McGrath

Margaret Kay McGrath passed away at her residence in Delta, Colorado, on April 18, 2026. She was 90 years old.

Kay was born on March 31, 1936, in Denver, Colorado. She was adopted by Edith Swisher McIntyre and Dan Wyman McIntyre, Jr. Kay had one brother.

She grew up in Hotchkiss and on the East Muddy where she spent her summers helping her father with the family sheep outfit.

Kay graduated from Hotchkiss High School.

Kay met Marlin Max McGrath where they were married on July 28, 1956. Kay was 20 years old.

Kay and Mick ran their own Dairy, milking cows and farming, growing their own feed for the cows east of Delta.

They started their family having two girls, Shari McGrath Shea and Sharon “Fuzz” McGrath (deceased).

Mick and Fuzz preceded Kay in death.
