Margaret Owen Marshall, 95, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2025, in Delta, Colorado. A woman of faith, unwavering dedication, and strength. Margaret lived a life marked by service, love for her family, and giving to others.

She was born on August 24, 1930, in Littlefield, Texas. Margaret pursued higher education at Pacific Union College in Northern California. There, she earned a bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Mathematics, an impressive accomplishment that reflected her intelligence and determination. It was also during her time in college that she met Walter, the love of her life. They were married in 1950 in Chowchilla, California. Beginning a relationship of shared values and mutual devotion. 

In 1960, Margaret furthered her education by studying to become a medical technologist. Her career would take a remarkable turn in 1966 when she and her family embarked on a journey aboard a freighter to Guana, Africa. There, they served as missionaries for five years. Living on a compound with other missionary families. Margaret worked as a lead technologist in a government-owned hospital. Her work was not only professionally significant but deeply meaningful. A reflection of her service and global outreach. After returning to the United States, Margaret continued to live out her life of service through community involvement and volunteerism. She worked at Hope West and contributed to an Adult Literacy program, efforts that showcased her desire to uplift others through knowledge and care. 

Margaret's faith was central to her life. For more than three decades, she served as treasurer for the local Seventh-Day-Adventist church, a roll filled with diligence and integrity. Her spiritual commitment was evident of how she lived her daily life. 

She found joy in many hobbies that brought warmth to those around her. An accomplished seamstress and craftswoman, Margaret loved to sew, knit, and crochet. Gifting loved ones with dresses, scarves, and blankets, crafted with love and precision. She was also known for her baking talents; pies, brownies, and cinnamon rolls were requested and enjoyed. Margaret enjoyed golfing with family and participated in the ladies' golf league. She cherished time with her grandchildren children and great-grandchildren, playing board games and enjoying ice cream. 

She is lovingly remembered by her sons, Chris (Susie), Craig, grandchildren; Eric (Christy), Jennifer (Dave), Nicole (Craig), great-grandchildren; Baylee and Christopher. Margaret was proceeded in death by her beloved husband Walter, two daughters: Carol Ann and Cathy and sister, Millie. 

May Margaret's memory bring comfort to all who knew her and continue to inspire love and service. 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 3rd at 3:00 at Taylor Funeral Home, 682 1725 Road, Delta, Colorado. 

In lieu of flowers, a contribution may be made in her name to Hope West or to Delta Food Pantry.
