Lola Lively, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and woman of enduring faith, passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior, surrounded by the love of her family. Lola spent the majority of her life in the communities of Delta and Grand Junction, Colorado —places she called home not only in residence but in heart.
Born to Marguerite and Lawrence Taft, Lola was one of several siblings and is lovingly remembered by her sister Lois Pittman and brother Arthur Taft. She now joins in Heaven her siblings Eunice Forry, Arnold Taft, and Imogene Kelly, along with her beloved grandchildren Shauna Keplinger, Charles Lively, and Tasha Lively.
Lola’s life was marked by her deep love of family and her unwavering Christian faith. She was strong-willed, fiercely dedicated, and grounded in a strength that inspired those around her. Lola met life’s challenges with courage and grace. Her sharp sense of humor and love for an unexpected laugh brought joy to many, and her presence was a source of both comfort and spirited companionship. Her life was a living testimony to grace and the peace that comes from walking daily with the Lord.
She is survived by her cherished husband, Charles Lively; her devoted daughter Connie Keplinger; her son and daughter-in-law Randy and Cindy Lively; and her grandchildren Andrea, Hope, and Bryan. Lola was also blessed with great-grandchildren Ryan, Tasha, Corbin, Charlie, and Ronald.
A celebration of her life will be held in the coming days, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory, rejoice in her legacy, and find comfort in the faith she so graciously lived.
