Kathie Lynn Lester

          Kathie Lynn Lester (65) passed away on May 21, 2024, in Delta, Colorado.

          Graveside services will be held on May 29, 2024, at 11:00 am for close friends and family at Mesa View Cemetery.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

          Kathie was born on November 15, 1958, to Beverly and Arthur Crim in Delta, Colorado.  She lived in Delta County for the majority of her life, and served as a Medic, both in the Hotchkiss and Delta District Ambulance Services.  Also, she was a board member on the Delta Ambulance Service, and later as a technician at the Delta County Memorial Hospital emergency department.

          On September 11, 1981, she married James Lester in Hotchkiss, Colorado.  They had four children (Teresa, Heather, Tabatha, and Micheal), four grandchildren (Heidi, Melanie, Tanner, and Andrew), and three great grandchildren.

          Kathie enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing with her grandchildren, she enjoyed spending time in Mesquite, Nevada with her husband.

          Kathie is survived by her husband James, her daughters Tabatha (Rodney) and Heather, her grandchildren Heidi, Melanie (Patrick), Tanner and Andrew, her three great grandchildren, a sister Shelly, and her niece Margie.

          Kathie is preceded in death by her daughter Teresa and son Micheal and her parents, and grandparents.
