Juliana Marie (Duarte) Brawley

Born June 14, 1959, in WakeField, Rhode Island to Anthony and Rita (Pariseau) Duarte. Juliana passed September 20, 2025, surrounded with loved ones in Delta, Colorado. Juliana was third of five children, having four brothers, Anthony, Louis and Jeffrey Duarte, and youngest brother Micheal Sullivan. Juliana was widowed, preceded in death by her husband Thomas Owen Brawley.

Juliana was a mother and is survived by her five children. Eldest daughter, Jesica (Farrar) Qualls, Shawn Farrar, Sarah Farrar, James Brawley and youngest Kathrine (Brawley) Scott. She was a loving aunt to niece Julieana (Duarte) Flores, Patrick Duarte, and Ernest Ben Duarte.

In addition, Juliana was blessed with a whopping 15 grandchildren!

Juliana lived life literally on her own terms. And in her passing the same.

She loved hard even to a fault at times. She was stubborn and had the mouth and wit of a drunken sailor. Unapologetically, she brought a kind of banter to every interaction she had. Leaving this world and those left in her absence with very warming unforgettable memories. Juliana will be missed and remembered for the woman and mother she was, the God-fearing values she held, and for the best efforts she gave to all her loved ones. Juliana was extremely happy in her last moments to have had the opportunity to reconnect with her brother Jeff.
