Judy Colvin

Judith A Colvin passed away May 14, 2025 at Colorow Care Center, Olathe, Colorado. She was 83 years old.

Viewing will be on Monday, May 19, 2025, at Redeemer Lutheran Church (RLC) Delta, Colorado at 11:30am to 12:30pm, followed by the funeral service (RLC) at 12:30pm to 1:30pm. A graveside service will be held at Delta Cemetery at 2:00pm. A remembrance reception will follow at Redeemer Lutheran Church (RLC) at 3:00pm.

Judy was born in Denison, Iowa on February 15, 1942 to Marjorie (Koch) and Marvin Germeroth. She moved to Greeley, Colorado in her youth where she met her husband, Jerry “Jack” Colvin, who preceded her in death on October 25, 1998.

Judy was a dedicated servant of the Lord for most of her life, serving as the (RLC) secretary for many years. She spent the last 28 years in Delta, Colorado after moving from Grand County with her husband, Jack. She was a waitress for much of her life and enjoyed many years working at C&J Cafe in Delta, Colorado. She loved spending time with her family, playing bingo, and line dancing.

Judy is survived by her children, Vicky (Frank) Sternicki, Rick (Vicki) Colvin, Carie (Jeff) Hunt, her grandchildren, Jeremy, Jake, Mikaela, Katy, Lindsay, Nikolas, Gabrielle, Daniel, Elliana and her great grandchildren, Charly, Cali, Kenzi, Aleric, Kairi, Calliopi and Kaylan, her sister Sharon (Al) Direnberger, her brother Richard (Bonnie) Germeroth and several nieces, nephews, and so many friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack, her grandson, Jerron, her parents, ‘Marge’ and Marvin, and her great granddaughter, Flower.
