On January 10, 2023, Joshua Darin Largent, loving spouse, and father of 3, went into cardiac arrest at work and passed away January 17, 2023, at the tender age of 31.
As an avid outdoorsman, Josh loved any excuse to be out in nature: Hunting, Fishing, Hiking, off roading and dirt biking. Even work, Josh worked in the oilfields and in construction for over 15 years.
Josh was known for his work ethic and was a hard worker. Josh would help anyone in need, even if it wasn’t his part of the job.
Josh met the love of his life, Aleisha Putney-Brumfield in 2012, they bonded over their love of dogs and their mutual love of the outdoors. After several months of dating, they married on top of one of their favorite mountains in the meadow on Owl Creek Pass.
Josh took on the responsibilities of not only raising Aleisha’s 2 daughters but her 2 siblings who Aleisha had custody of.
Josh was best known for his shy and quiet nature but also his quick-witted humor.
He is survived by his wife, Aleisha, and daughters by love, Xavia and Savannah.
His parents, Darin & Jeanene Largent. Sister’s Codi Wood’s (Mike) & Jordan Largent, sister in laws Grace, Jo, Bear, Jordan, Cambria Duran, Dami Schell, bother in laws Dayvid Duran & Levi Schell, Nephews: Kyzer, Zyzik, Haden, Logan, McKoy, Kato and Dom. niece’s Kyndahl, Addilynn and Sharayiah. Aunt LaJuan Hubbs and Grandmother Janie Lee.
Josh is preceded in death by his daughter Flower, Grandfathers Larry Largent, Larry Lee, Howard Hubbs and Bob White, Grandmothers Joan White and Carol Hubbs and Uncle James Lee.
Memorial service will be held on Tuesday January 24, 2023, at 10 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home in Delta, CO.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations be made in honor of Josh to the Go Fund Me page or Zelle account 970-497-0815 for Aleisha Largent to help with medical and funeral expenses.
