John Duane Cole

John Duane Cole passed away October 31, 2025 at Horizons Care Center, Eckert. He was 76.

John (Pappa John) was born in Delta Colorado on January 12, 1949 to Brice and Evelyn Cole. He graduated from Delta High School in 1967. He enlisted in the United States Army at 18 and spent time in Vietnam, Alaska as well as Tennessee. John retired from the Army after 10 years and worked for the United States Postal Service in Tennessee before transferring to Littleton Colorado where he met and fell in love with his wife, Kathryn Rino. They married September 3, 2005 and celebrated 20 years together. John loved animals and going to yard sales. He enjoyed collecting piggy banks, coins and stamps He was loved so much and will be missed.

Survivors include his wife Kathryn Cole, sister-in-law Theresa Rino, his special grand niece Quinlyn Smith, his granddaughter Tracy Smith (Sean King), a grandson Trevor Smith (Becky), a sister Patty Farmer (Dan), a sister Jean Schmitt, a nephew Les Farmer, a niece Vikki Lewis (Scott) and a great nephew Shad.
