Jayne M. Allen

Jayne M. Allen passed away August 10, 2026, in Palisade, Colorado. She was 67 years old.

Jayne was interred at Mesa View Cemetery in Delta, Colorado. Jayne was born on November 7, 1958, in Fairmount, North Dakota to Audrey Jean (Grundysen) and Lourn Harlan Sund. She grew up in Fairmount and graduated from Fairmount High School. She continued her education at Metropolitan State University-Denver and at Minnesota State-Moorhead, receiving a bachelor's degree in social work.

She met David R. Allen, and they were married on May 21, 1983, in Fairmount, North Dakota. Jayne and David later moved to Montrose, Colorado. They celebrated nearly 29 years of marriage. Jayne later moved to Grand Junction, Colorado, where she lived for the past eleven years. She worked for many years in banking. She especially enjoyed her pets and baking.

Jayne is survived by a stepson, Richard Allen, step granddaughter, Abagail, brother Charles (Patricia) Sund, a niece, three nephews, two great-nieces and one great-nephew. Jayne is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brothers Harlen and Alan.
