Irene M Williamson

Delta resident, Irene M. Williamson passed away peacefully early Saturday, October 24, 2020 at her home in Delta. She was 74 years old.
A memorial service will be held 10:00am, Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Taylor Funeral Service Chapel in Delta, Colo.
Irene Madrid Licon was born September 14, 1946 to Benito D. and Adela (Madrid) Licon in Visalia, California. She spent her childhood in California.
On February 14, 1982, Irene married Daniel Garrett Williamson in Bellflower, California. Irene and Daniel owned and operated a small engine repair business for a number of years before retiring. The pair were Elk s Club members, Vietnam Vets/ legacies members. The couple shared 34 years of love and marriage before Daniel passed away on July 28, 2016.
Irene enjoyed playing pool and traveling with her husband and family, but most of all she cherished time spent with her family and friends.
Irene is survived by a daughter, Rhonda Trani; a brother, Benito Licon; sister, Alice Jones. Irene is further survived by her five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Irene was preceded in death by her parents, Benito and Adela (Madrid) Licon; her husband, Daniel Williamson; and a daughter, Monica Trani.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Taylor Funeral Service and Crematory.
