Elizabeth "Liz" Mae Hotz

Elizabeth Mae Hotz passed away on June 4, 2026, at home. She was 57 years old.

Elizabeth was born February 5, 1969, in Aspen, Colorado, to Sharon and Thomas Deal. She grew up in Delta, Colorado, and graduated from Delta High School in 1987.

She met her husband, Daniel Hotz, and they were married on August 15, 1987. They celebrated 38 years together. She spent most of her life as a homemaker.

Elizabeth is survived by her spouse, Daniel Hotz; sons, Jeff Tharp and Steven Hotz; daughter, Sarah Hotz; brother, Lonnie Deal; and sister, Amelia Jenkins. She had two grandchildren.

Elizabeth is preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Steve Deal.

A funeral service will be held at 1pm, Monday, June 15, 2026, at Taylor Funeral Service. Interment will follow at Delta City Cemetery.
