Dortha Bell (Bullock) George

Dortha Bell (Bullock) George passed away on April 19, 2026, at her home. She was 94.

Per her request, no services will be held.

Dortha was born in Anthony, Kansas, to Claira Ann Oliver and John Harvey Bullock. She moved from Kansas at the age of eleven to Delta, Colorado, and graduated from Delta High School.

She met Wayne Curtis George, Sr. and married in September of 1953. They celebrated 62 years of marriage.

She worked as a housekeeper. She loved to work outside on their property and crocheting. She loved to spend time with family and friends.

Dortha is survived by Wayne C. George, Jr. (Cindy), Larry George, John George (Sandy), and Darlene Osborne (Michael), 18 grandkids, 28 great grandkids, and 7 great great grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Claire Oliver and John Harvey Bullock, her husband Wayne C. George, Sr., 2 sons L.C. George and William George, and his grandson Joshua George. She had 10 siblings including her twin sister.
