Doris Jean Rundle

Doris Jean Rundle passed away August 11, 2025. She was 81. Services will be held on August 16th at Taylor Funeral Service 209 E Bridge St. Hotchkiss, CO 81419 at 2:00pm, followed by a graveside service in Crawford, CO. A viewing will be Friday, August 15th at 4:30pm at Taylor Funeral Service 682 1725 Rd. Delta, CO 81416.

Doris Jean Rundle was born on October 13, 1943, in Mangum, OK, to Wanda Buchanan and her father Morris Buchanan of Mangum, OK. She grew up in Mangum, OK. Jean was 14 when she met the love of her life, Gerald Rundle. Jean and Gerald married on June 29, 1968, in Mangum, OK.

Jean loved to spend time with family and loved to make everyone smile. Jean loved reading her Bible, embroidery, crocheting, and loved playing the piano. She also loved baking and cooking, and all arts and crafts.

Among Jean’s survivors are her son, Rory Rundle (Christie Guyer); daughter, Sandi Carr; and daughter-in-law, Rollis Rundle, all from Crawford, CO. Jean was blessed with seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren. Jean was preceded in death by her husband Gerald; two daughters, Suzette and Crystal; and one son, Roddy.
