Doris Marie Martin

Doris Marie Martin passed away Wednesday, December 13th, 2023 at the Willow Tree Care Center in Delta.  She was 95 years old.

Doris was born August 30th, 1028 in Whitney, Nebraska to Isabelle Marie Cowell and Theodore Kassahn.  She would make Colorado her home in 1944.

She would marry James K. Langston in 1946. They would have two children before divorcing.  She would find love again and married Guy Martin on April 30th, 1954.  They would spend 40 years together until Guy's passing in 1994.  

Doris enjoyed gardening and krafts of all kinds.  She is survived by her Daughter Peggy Isom (Bob) of Delta, son James Langston of Grand Junction; three Grandchildren, Shannon Byers, Kimberly Isom and Mike Langston; Great Grandchildren, Taylor Ryan and Sage Byers.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Theodore, Carl and Jack Kassahn, and one sister, June Kassahn.

She will be laid to rest next to he loving husband Guy Martin at the Delta City Cemetery on Tuesday, December 19th, 2023 at 1:00pm.
