Darlynn was born on March 20, 1947, in Delta Colorado to Flave (Rhodes) and Harp Suckow. She grew up in Delta and graduated from Delta High School in 1965. Darlynn was Baptized in the Christian Church in Delta.
She met the love of her life, Everett Webb, and they were married on June 3, 1972. They celebrated 53 years of marriage.
They followed Everett’s job with City Market living in Grand Junction, Moab, Basalt, and eventually Hotchkiss Colorado.
Darlynn was a homemaker; she was born to be a mom. Darlynn had 3 children, a daughter and twin boys, which she was very proud of. She sold Avon from the early 1970’s through the early 1990’s.
When not working Darlynn loved family gatherings, impromptu campfire dinners on the mountain and traveling. She was always surrounded by a dog, either on her lap or at her feet.
In 1994 Everett and Darlynn bought a cabin on The Grand Mesa. They eventually added a room to the cabin and Darlynn really enjoyed planning and building the addition. She loved playing canasta at the cabin late into the night. She also enjoyed sewing, making a lot of her own dresses as a young lady, and some clothing for her children.
Darlynn is survived by her husband Everett of Hotchkiss, a daughter Michelle (Charles) Shelden of Hotchkiss, a son Joseph Webb of eastern Colorado, and a son Jacob (Janel) Webb of Delta, and a daughter in heart Natalie Luna of Delta; a brother Dennis Suckow, 2 sister-in-law Pat Suckow and Kay Suckow; and her grandchildren Bryce Shelden, Dakota (Paityn) Shelden, Mason and Megan Webb and several nieces and nephews.
Darlynn is preceded in death by her parents, a brother Dick and his wife Betty Suckow, and a brother Dale Suckow.
Donations can be made in Darlynn’s name to Hope West Hospice of Delta or Gideon’s International.
