Danene (Dani) Mae Tupper went home to Jesus on March 20, 2026, at the age of 91. The celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, March 27, at Delta Christian Church, 795 1600 Road, in Delta, Colorado. The graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 1, at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Bloomington, Nebraska.
Dani was born to Daniel and Elsie Waring on January 26, 1935, in Bloomington, Nebraska. She was the youngest of four children. She met her husband Keith on a blind double-date with her best friend Ruthie. Keith always wanted to be a pilot, and he joined the Air Force in 1954. While home on leave in December of that year, he proposed, and they married two months later. They had three children, David, Julie, and Jan. They moved all over the country, as well as Australia and Spain, with Keith’s job as an electronics engineer with the General Dynamics F-111 and F-16 fighter programs. For a small-town girl from rural Nebraska, she lived a very full, adventurous life.
In addition to being a dedicated and loving wife and mother, Dani’s passion was art, especially watercolor. She also loved working in her garden, staying actively involved in the artist community wherever she lived, and holding various volunteer roles at her local church. Throughout her life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her.
Dani joins her husband, Keith, her parents, Daniel and Elsie, her sister, Margaret Ann Ensz, her brother, Gene Waring, and her grandson Ryan Speas, in Heaven. She is survived by her brother Lawrence; her children, David (Dave) Tupper, Julie Bell and her husband Terry, and Jan Speas and her husband Clay; her grandchildren, Daniel, Joel, Mara, Rand, Zach, Rachel, and Jeff; and her 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations can be sent to Delta Christian Church, 795 1600 Road, Delta, CO 81416, or to Samaritan’s Purse, P.O. Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607.
