Cindy Krueger, 66, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2025 at home. She was surrounded by her loving family and friends in her final days. Her memory lives on in the hearts of her beloved husband, Richard, and their cherished dog, Little Wally.
Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Dianne Bryson, and Step mother Echo Ann Bryson. She is survived by step children Cory Krueger and Eric Krueger, three grandchildren, one great granddaughter, and her brothers, Mike Bryson (Donna), Steven Foster (Cheryl), her sister, Sheryl Hieber (Steve); as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will deeply miss her vibrant spirit, generosity, and laughter.
Cindy will be remembered for the love she gave so freely, her dedication to her family, and the joy she brought to every room she entered. She was especially known for her homemade cheesecakes and pierogies, and hosting spectacular Bronco Parties. Cindy had a deep love for nature, and some of her favorite memories were made RVing and ATVing with Richard along the western slope of Colorado and Utah, or just sitting under the pergola in the back yard watching the hummingbirds.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Cindy’s honor to Hope West in Grand Junction and the Surface Creek Animal Shelter in Cedaredge—two organizations close to her heart.
A celebration of Cindy’s life will be held this summer on Grand Mesa, a joyful gathering, just as she would’ve wanted.
