Consuela (Connie) Mary Cisneros

Consuela (Connie) Mary Cisneros of Delta, Colorado, passed away on October 14, 2026. She was 90 years old.

Consuela was born on March 18, 1936, in Taos, New Mexico, to Lino Vigil Cisneros and Placida Gallardo. She attended school in Sommerset, Colorado. She married Julian Orlando Martinez on February 28, 1955, and raised six children: Julie, Mary Jane, Tino, Betty, Lina, and Debbie.

Connie had many joys in life. She loved being surrounded by family, playing Rummy & Bingo with her grandkids, crocheting, word search puzzles, cooking for family, growing flowers (especially purple), and watching birds.

She is survived by her six children: Julie (Duane), Tino (Julie), Mary Jane (Richard), Betty, Lina, and Debbie (Cody); nine grandchildren: Damien, Jeremy (Tori), Jamie, Cynthia (Francisco), Alicia, Jessica (Chris), Olivia (Derek), Megan (Ryan), and Shelbi (Nick). She is also survived by twenty-four great grandchildren: Devan, Cameron, Trevor, Caley, Teagun, Adryanna, Ayvah, Patricia, JR, Sophia, Hannah, Max, Ashley, Cali, Illeana, Ivy, Izaac, Amia, Emmy, Judah, Remington, Julian, Tucker, and Ashton; one great-great grandchild, Everly; and one great-great grandchild on the way. 

Connie was preceded in death by her siblings: Ruperta Trujillo, Lino Cisneros, Alfonso Cisneros, Vidal Sisneros, Rafaelita Sisneros, Caroline Cisneros, and Erlinda Cisneros; her parents, Lino Cisneros and Placida Gallardo; and her granddaughter, Brandy Jane Gonzales.
