Carl Edmund Towne

Carl Edmund Towne was born on September 5, 1932 in Clinton, Massachusetts, to Dora (Greene) Towne and Malcolm Towne. He passed away peacefully on October 14, 2025 in Austin, Colorado at the age of 93.

Carl served in the Army and studied at Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska, earning a degree in business from Walla Walla College in Washington State. He worked for many years in hospital administration and was a life-long, active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Carl is preceded in death by his beloved wife Joan (Clemons) Towne and son Duane Towne. He is survived by daughter, Denise "Suzie" Towne, granddaughter, Denise Towne, great-grandsons Sean Hopper and Blake Beaber, sister-in-law Thelma (Oliver) Wilson, and niece Jodi Clemons Mathison as well as many friends in the Delta, Colorado area.
