Arthur VonFeldt

Arthur VonFeldt, 91, of Eckert, passed on Monday, March 30, 2026. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at Taylor Funeral Home, 682 1725 Rd, Delta, CO on Monday, April 6, 2026, at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at the Cedaredge Cemetery. Viewing for family and friends will be held one hour prior to mass.

Art was born on March 22, 1935, in Brighton, CO to Joseph VonFeldt and Susan (Dinkel) VonFeldt.

He married his late wife Joyce (Paulson) on March 31, 1954. They celebrated 59 years together. They spent most of their marriage in Brighton, raising and nurturing their children and grandchildren before they made their way to Delta County making Eckert, CO their home. He has been a resident of the Western Slope for over 35 years.

Art was incredibly hard working, owning his own drywall construction business for many years. He loved working with his hands and spending time outdoors, continuing to fish and get his own firewood well into his 80s. He enjoyed spending time with his friends at the Delta Senior Center, Bill Heddles Rec Center, and listening to polka music.

He is survived by his four children, Robert Arthur VonFeldt of Brighton, William Joseph VonFeldt of Thornton, Teresa Joy VonFeldt of Fort Morgan, and Lori Marie VonFeldt of Colorado Springs; and many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and other family and friends.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Taylor Funeral Service and Crematory.
