Cedaredge, Colorado resident, Barbara M. Vikre, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at La Villa Grande Care Center in Grand Junction. She was 81 years of age.

Barbara M. Vidick was born on August 16, 1938 to Frank and Frances (Dornick) Vidick in Leadville, Colorado where she spent her childhood and graduated from Leadville High School.
After graduation, Barbara served her country in the United States Navy. She later married Donald J. Vikre, he preceded her in death.
Barbara enjoyed reading, playing mahjong and the piano. After retirement, Barbara moved from Park City, Illinois to Cedaredge where she resided the past 18 years.
Barbara is survived by her daughter, Julie (Reese) Wagner of Cedaredge; a sister, E. J. Gaimara of Denver and four grandchildren.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Donald.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Taylor Funeral Service and Crematory.
