Alice was born April 20, 1932 to Fanny Ellen (Miller) Garner and Clark Garner in Las Animas, CO. Youngest of nine children. She completed high school in Las Animas, CO.
She Married Leroy Marshall in 1947, the marriage later dissolved. Alice married Robert M. Martin in Brighton, CO on October 24, 1969. He passed away February 23, 1990.
Alice loved history, cooking, traveling, sewing, and people.
Alice is survived by her oldest daughter, Sharon (George) Bradshaw; her sister, Ruth Roush; nieces, nephews, two step-children, grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Virgil, Roy, Alvie, Dan, and Cecil; sisters, Pearl and Ila; her daughter, Colleen Marshall Fields.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
